I have had the privilege of being Joe’s pastor for many years. He is a friend with a servant heart. Joe is known for his incredible voice…and it is incredible…but his heart for Jesus and His church is the real blessing. Joe will be an encouragement to your church or ministry. You will be able to see his sincerity and talent and it will be a true blessing! I know that his heart is to lift up the name of Jesus, see churches revived, and people saved. He is passionate about his calling and unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I've known Joe for many years. When I first met him I was with J. D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. We had him up on the platform of the church we were at and he sang with us. I don't know anyone who has given his life for the Lord anymore than Joe. He is a blessing to all of us who know him and those who just meet him. After three years I finally decided to go to North Roanoke Baptist Church to see this production called Judgment House. When we arrived, with the kids from our youth, we had to wait in a long long line to get in. As we stood outside we heard some of the most Angelic music we've ever heard and as we got about half way up the line I realized that it wasn't a tape or CD playing but that it was LIVE and this guy was getting down with it!! This guy's voice was like an angels and I suppose this is what Heavens going to sound like. I think his trailer said Overfelt on the side of it.... What a voice Joe, what a voice! This was truly some of the best music we've ever heard!!!
